The beauty of letting go

When one gives himself up to God
Let the waves do as they will,
While looking up at the blue skies;
There is only emptiness!
And yet there is everything.
Emptiness and at once fullness,
Fullness at once emptiness.
Furthermore, one finds himself to be alive -
He does not sink to the bottom.
How strange this existence.
And that existence is "me".
